Without canvas, board, or panel - and a keyboard for a brush, the smeared pixels of the digital strive to emulate the oil, body and pigment. Before I had even held a camera, or touched a computer, I did brandish the Brush and Pencil. As time has passed, the space-time for painting in my physical world has contracted to the two dimensions of a screen, the click of a mouse and the tap of a key.
